She had one commercial and two private owners before I bought her in 1985. I spent several months doing various repairs and making her respectable again. The views above show her when she was about to take to the road after all the work.

One brief claim to fame was her appearance in the Beatles 'Free as a Bird' video where she was parked outside Abbey Road Studios a part of the recreation of the 'Abbey Road' album cover. Well, it paid for some new tyres!

She was used on a very regular basis as an everyday car until 1999 when the dreaded rust started to have a noticable effect, so a second more thorough rebuilding became necessary. However, this has taken longer than planned due to lack of time - and a certain amount of frustration along the way. The main problem has been trying to get the body sections to all line up properly and to get the door shuts just right - finally achieved in January 2007!
